Symptom checklist

What we hear from the bridge.

  • Accommodation HVAC zone temperature drift ±5 °C
  • ER ventilation damper fails to close on CO2 release
  • Reefer plug-in point GFCI nuisance trip
  • Chilled water pump VFD overcurrent
Likely root causes

Where the fault usually lives.

  • Aged thermistor sensor
  • Stuck damper actuator
  • Wet reefer socket terminal
Equipment we bring

Calibrated test equipment, class-acceptable reports.

  • Druck DPI 620 calibrator
  • Fluke 1587 FC insulation multimeter
  • FLIR T540 thermography

Reports compatible with DNV · BV · ABS · Lloyd's · TL · RINA · ClassNK · IRS.

FAQ

Common questions for this system.

Which HVAC automation platforms and unit brands do you cover?
Carrier 30RB and 30XA marine chillers, Daikin marine packaged AC units, JCM (Johnson Controls Marine) AHU controllers, plus Heinen and Hopman accommodation AHU with Honeywell and Sauter DDC controllers over Modbus RTU and BACnet/IP. We service ER ventilation interlocks tied into CO2 release with a Fluke 975 AirMeter, troubleshoot VFD fan-speed loops (ABB ACS580) and recommission reefer container plug-in points (440V/60Hz/32A) including the monitoring receptacle insulation test.
How long does a typical accommodation HVAC fault attendance take?
A single chilled water AHU control fault (sensor, damper actuator, VFD trip) is three to four hours alongside. A full accommodation HVAC and ER ventilation interlock recommission after a refit is twelve to sixteen hours, including ER fan / fire damper / CO2 release matrix witnessed live. We carry Sauter and Honeywell PC tools, a Fluke 975 IAQ meter and ABB ACS-AP-x programming panels in the flyaway kit to avoid an OEM call-out fee.
Can you certify the ER ventilation / CO2 release interlock for class?
Yes. The interlock matrix test (ER supply fan stop, exhaust fan stop, fire damper closure, FO/LO transfer pump stop, CO2 release armed) is documented in the report format expected by DNV, BV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, ClassNK, RINA, TL and IRS for the SOLAS Ch II-2 item. We attach the cause-and-effect matrix marked up against the actual response time, Fluke 975 air-change measurement and a photo of the CO2 release station after the test, reset to ready state.
